The third season of the TATA WPL will begin on February 14, 2025, as the premier women’s franchise cricket competition returns for another action-packed campaign. All five franchises are eyeing the championship trophy, with their key players discussing the season ahead on Disney+ Hotstar’s Superstars: War of Words.

Organisers of the 13th annual Irish Cricket Awards – being held on 6 March in Dublin – have received a major boost with DMG Media, through their Business Plus brand, signing on again as the event’s title sponsor. This will be the second year the media title will feature in that position.
In a post-match conversation on Disney+ Hotstar, Piyush Chawla shared his thoughts on Varun Chakravarthy’s performance in the 3rd Ind vs Eng T20I: “Consistency in T20 cricket is never easy, but Varun has been exceptional. He’s been making batsmen play the wrong shots, which speaks volumes about his control and deception. That googly to dismiss Jofra Archer with his last ball was pure class. At this point, whenever India’s T20 squad is announced, his name is bound to be the first on the list.”
