(Football news) Riyad Mahrez the 32-year-old has been approved to skip City’s preseason tour of South Korea and Japan. Insofar as City received a bid that suited their assessment of Mahrez, whose contract still had two years remaining, that had previously been agreed.

Mahrez joined City for £60 million in 2018 and contributed 15 goals in 47 games as the Blues won the Treble. Although he was not utilised as a substitute for either the FA Cup or Champions League finals, manager Pep Guardiola decided to allow him to join the SPL’s list of high-profile signings this summer.

Jordan Henderson, a midfielder for England, will be sold by Liverpool to Al-Ettifaq for £12 million plus add-ons. This summer, players like Karim Benzema, N’Golo Kante, and Ruben Neves accompanied Cristiano Ronaldo to Saudi Arabia. Additionally, Steven Gerrard was hired as manager of Al-Ettifaq, while Michael Emenalo was named director of football for the SPL.

Four of the SPL’s biggest teams, including Al-Ahli, have been acquired by the nation’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), as the league strives to rank among the top five in the globe. This summer, rumours have swirled around the futures of three players: Spain defender Aymeric Laporte, Portugal midfielder Bernardo Silva, and England defender Kyle Walker.

All three, nevertheless, are members of Guardiola’s touring team for the exhibition matches.

German media reports claimed Bayern Munich and Walker had reached an agreement, although it is believed that these reports are inaccurate.

Brazilian fullback Joao Cancelo is also a member of the City team because Bayern Munich declined to extend his six-month loan from the previous season into a permanent agreement. Zach Steffen, the custodian, is reportedly out due to a knee problem, although City is open to the thought of the USA international leaving this summer.
