Madrid vs Barça: Copa Showdown

The much-anticipated Copa del Rey final between Real Madrid and FC Barcelona is scheduled for this Saturday, April 26.  The famous Estadio La Cartuja in Sevilla will host the game.

Both sides unveiled their rosters for this exciting El Clasico on Friday, only one day before this historic match.

Unfortunately, both Madrid and Barcelona will be missing a number of their best players for the pivotal matchup because of injuries.

Due to long-term knee problems, Real Madrid will be unable to rely on Eder Militao and Dani Carvajal, which is a significant setback.  Eduardo Camavinga, who just tore his adductor tendon, is also not allowed to play.

Important players like Fran Gonzalez, Andriy Lunin, and Thibaut Courtois are part of the final squad.  David Alaba, Antonio Rudiger, and Lucas Vazquez will try to hold the line defensively.  Jude Bellingham, Fede Valverde, and Luka Modric are examples of midfielders who will try to dictate the pace and generate opportunities.  Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Junior are anticipated to spearhead the attack up front.

FC Barcelona, meanwhile, has problems with their team.  Marc-Andre Ter Stegen will play a key role as goalie, and Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo are mainstays in their defense.  Talent abounds in the midfield, with players like Pedri and Frenkie de Jong poised to direct play.  Ferran Torres and Ansu Fati are ready to challenge the Madrid defense in the attacking third.
