Barcelona Trail Liverpool for Argentine Wonderkid

Many people believe that Franco Mastantuono is one of the future big stars in South American football.

Elite clubs throughout Europe are keeping an eye on the talented midfielder, who is only 17 years old and has already made 40 professional appearances for River Plate in Argentina.

Along with their rivals Real Madrid, Barcelona is rumored to be a fan of the teenage wonderkid. Other teams like AC Milan and PSG have also expressed interest.

However, Liverpool is presently ahead of rivals like Barcelona and Real Madrid in the race to recruit Franco Mastantuono, according to rumors from England that were reported by Mundo Deportivo.

According to reports, the Reds are prepared to make every effort to sign the 17-year-old attacking midfielder, whose interest in him only recently surfaced.

According to the report, the Premier League powerhouses would be willing to pay Mastantuono’s $45 million release clause, which would increase to $50 million in the last few weeks of the transfer window.

For their part, Barcelona is constantly on the lookout for emerging players in the South American market, and Mastantuono is a perfect fit.

But considering the club’s unstable financial status, it seems improbable that they would invest a significant sum of money on a 17-year-old who has no prior European football experience.

As a result, Liverpool is now in the lead for Mastantuono, however it’s unclear if the Argentine sensation will ultimately relocate to England.
