Tottenham Hotspur host 11th placed Crystal Palace

Tottenham Hotspur will try and secure European football to rescue torrid season
Tottenham Hotspur

(Football news) Tottenham Hotspur were left heartbroken in the last game. They came back from 3-0 down to level it 3-3 against Liverpool at Anfield. However, they conceded a goal in the very next minute as Liverpool won 4-3. Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to get back to winning ways and qualify for Europe having lost 3 and

drawn 1 of their last 4 games. Currently Spurs are 7th on table 5 points behind Liverpool and 1 point behind Brighton who have 2 games in hand while Aston Villa are level on points. A Europa Conference League is a realistic possibility at this moment in time but that could change in the next few days.

Now Tottenham Hotspur take on Crystal Palace who are coming into this game on the back of a thrilling 4-3 win over West Ham. Palace will be without Nathan Ferguson and James Tomkins while Naouirou Ahamada and Wilfried Zaha are doubts. Nathaniel Clyne who has been injured for over a month is back in training and could return to the bench. Tottenham Hotspur on the other hand are still missing Emerson Royal, Rodrigo Bentancur, Yves Bissouma, Ryan Sessegnon and Hugo Lloris. It will be a tough choice between Richarlison and Dejan Kulusevski for a play up front alongside Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son.

Tottenham Hotspur next season apart from a new manager will also need quite a few signings. Qualification into a European competition will be helpful not just because of finances but it will also help attract players. Ryan Mason has shown glimpses of a decent manager in the 2 spells he has had as an interim manager. This Tottenham Hotspur side has the quality to stitch together a winning run in the final gasp of this season.
