Indian equestrian Fouaad Mirza enters final medal round at the Tokyo Olympics

(Olympics news) Tokyo 2021 Live Update: A top 25 finish was what Fouaad Mirza needed to qualify for the final medal round as he completed the Jumping round of Equestrian event with eight points and a score of 47.20 to finish in the 25th position and just qualifying for the Jumping Final. Mirza is the only Indian participating in the event and the very first time India has participated in this event at the Olympic Games.

Julia Krajewski of Germany finished in first position with 25.60 penalties, Oliver Townend from Great Britain followed in second place with 27.60 penalties and Tom McEwen from Great Britain finished in third place with 28.90 penalties at the Jumping Qualifier.
