(More-on-sports) The 2024 BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals will begin on April 27, 2024, at the Chengdu High-tech Zone Sports Center Gymnasium, Chengdu, China, LIVE & Exclusive on JioCinema and Sports18. India will enter the 33rd edition of the Thomas Cup as the defending champions after their historic triumph in 2022.

Placed in Group C, the men’s team will begin their title-defence campaign alongside 14-time Thomas Cup champions and 2022 finalists Indonesia, Thailand, and England. India will start their campaign against Thailand on April 27, play England on April 29 and against Indonesia on May 1. The Indian contingent will feature HS Prannoy, Lakshya Sen, Kidambi Srikanth, Priyanshu Rajawat, and Kiran George in singles, with Satwiksairaj Rankireddy, Chirag Shetty, MR Arjun, Dhruv Kapila, and Sai Pratheek competing in doubles.

The 30th edition of the Uber Cup will feature 16 women’s teams, with the Republic of Korea entering as defending champions. India will play against Canada on April 27, Singapore on April 28 and China on April 30. The women’s contingent for India will feature Anmol Kharb, Tanvi Sharma, Ashmita Chaliha, and Isharani Baruah competing in singles while Shruti Mishra, Priya Konjengbam, Simran Singhi, and Ritika Thaker playing in doubles.
