Speaking out about Barcelona’s developing brilliance, the Argentine soccer great has not held back in praising his extraordinary abilities.

 Lamine Yamal is quickly emerging as one of the world’s most promising football players.  The 16-year-old Spanish winger quickly displayed his amazing strength, skill, and agility on the field when he made his debut for FC Barcelona’s first team at the age of 16.  Amazingly, he has already enjoyed wins in the Spanish Supercup with Barcelona and the UEFA Euro Championship with Spain at such a young age. This season, he has a good chance of winning the La Liga trophy, the Copa del Rey, and the UEFA Champions League.

With his incredible performance and ball handling, this young athlete has won over football fans all over the world, earning comparisons to Lionel Messi.  Like the renowned Rosario star, Yamal grew up at La Masia and is now regarded as Barcelona’s next gem.  He stands out for his captivating dribbles, spectacular long-range goals, and rapid agility, but every Catalan club fan is aware that no one can match the eight-time Ballon d’Or winner’s amazing legacy.

Numerous sports greats have expressed their admiration for the 17-year-old’s remarkable play, and Messi himself is the most recent to join the chorus.  During an interview with Quique Wolf and Pedro, the son of a former football player, on the YouTube channel Simplemente Fútbol, Messi talked about Yamal’s exceptional accomplishments at Barcelona and showered him with praise.

 “His accomplishments, actions, and demonstrations are outstanding.  He has already won a European title.  Messi claimed, “At just 17, he is in a growth phase and will definitely continue to improve his game.”

He went on to consider how he got started at the club, saying, “He started his trip in the same way that I did, on the right.  He might also change the way he plays in a few years.  He said, “There is no doubt he possesses extraordinary qualities; today, he is already among the best in the world.”
