(Football news) Mason Mount ends his 18-year relationship with Chelsea by joining Manchester United. The midfielder, who represents England internationally, leaves Stamford Bridge just 2 years after helping his team win the Champions League in 2021. Mason Mount, 24, signed a five-year contract with Old Trafford that runs through the summer of 2028 and includes an option for an additional year. Mount joined United as their first summer addition, during his 18 years at Chelsea Mason Mount won the Champions League, UEFA Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup.

In a social media video on Tuesday night, Mount said goodbye to Chelsea supporters. He departs Stamford Bridge with 195 appearances in all competitions, 33 goals, and 37 assists.
