DUBLIN – The squads for the four teams involved in the 2025 season of the men’s Inter-Provincial Series have been announced – with the competition set to benefit from the extensive involvement of the senior international players and an injection of emerging talent stepping up to the next level.

There are additionally a number of high-profile moves between squads, notably Andrew Balbirnie has moved to the North West Warriors and Stephen Doheny to the Munster Reds.

The Inter-Provincial Series features two separate competitions:

  • The Inter-Provincial Cup is a four-team 50-over Cup competition played in May-August. The defending champions are Leinster Lightning (see previous competition winners).
  • The Inter-Provincial Trophy is a four-team T20 competition played in June-July. The defending champions are Leinster Lightning (see previous competition winners). The Trophy will be played across four three-day T20 “festivals” at The Mardyke in Cork, Stormont in Belfast, Bready in Magheramason and Pembroke in Dublin between 17 June to 10 July.
