(Cricket news) Speaking on Star Sports’ Cricket Live, Kaif said “Delhi will have to focus on its team combination. This team will have to rethink its strategy. There are a lot of problems in the team and the morale of the players has taken a hit. Now, Delhi Capitals will have to forget everything and focus on winning consistently, which is not an impossible task.”

SRH may have lost their previous two games in back-to-back fashion, but they have some talented players who can alter the course of a match. The SRH team includes players like this, and the opposition will be cautious of Harry Brook.

Irfan Pathan, a former all-rounder for India, praised the English top-order hitter for having a diverse set of batting options.

Irfan Pathan stated on Star Sports’ Cricket Live,  “Harry Brook has a wide range of shots, he has shown a lot of maturity with his knocks so far in TATA IPL. The more he plays in TATA IPL, his game against spin will also improve.”

In the meantime, Chennai Super Kings defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 49 runs on Super Sunday, registering a crushing victory to take the lead in the team standings with 10 points.

Ajinkya Rahane, a seasoned competitor, and rookie pacer Matheesha Pathirana are match-winners for the MS Dhoni-led team despite losing some important players owing to injury.

Rahane has dominated the TATA IPL with his spectacular batting displays in his first season with CSK. The Mumbaikar reinvented his game at CSK after a few disappointing seasons, according to former India cricketer Mithali Raj.

Mithali Raj stated on Star Sports’ Cricket Live:  “Rahane has reinvented his game. He wanted to fit into the T20 format and that’s why he changed his game. There has been no change in his shots but there has been a lot of change in his approach. This Rahane is looking brand new.”

The young right-arm slinger from Sri Lanka named Pathirana is generating a lot of attention thanks to both his action and his accurate bowling.

Krishnamachari Srikkanth, a former cricketer for India, praised the lad from Kandy and made a comparison between him and the great Lasith Malinga.

Srikkanth commented on Star Sports’ Cricket Live: “This young bowler Pathirana is the second Malinga. He has a unique slinging action, clocks 140-plus consistently, and is very accurate. He also targets the right areas which makes him a dangerous bowler. Very good investment from CSK.”
