Ronald Araujo has recovered from his injury and he is all set to start the game

(Football news) Barcelona drew their last game against rivals Espanyol. Now they look to get back on track as they take on CF Intercity in the Copa Del Rey. Barcelona’s inability to finish chances in the last game is a little bit of a concern. Xavi will be hoping that his team can get a dominant win to bounce back. The Blaugrana have a big game against Atletico Madrid on the weekend so they might rest some of their players.

Barcelona have no injuries in their squad but the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Marc Andre Ter Stegen, Pedri, Ousmane Dembele amongst others are likely to be rested. The game will be a good opportunity for Hector Bellerin, Franck Kessie and Memphis Depay who don’t get much game time.

Atletico Madrid defeated CD Arenteiro in the Copa Del Rey Round of 64 and now they will be facing Real Oviedo in the Round of 32. Atleti haven’t won the Copa Del Rey since 2013 and Diego Simeone will be keen to break that drought. Atletico have won their 2 games since the World Cup break was over.

Diego Simeone will also have to think of the game against Barcelona on the weekend which means that he may be looking to rest some players. The Rojiblancos have their full squad available which hasn’t always been the case with them this season. Antoine Griezmann is likely to be rested as he played 79 minutes after playing all the games at the World Cup.
