3 must have players in your Fantasy Premier League team after the international break

(Football news) The international break is over which means the Premier League finally returns. Football fans are excited to see their favourite clubs in action but FPL players are more excited hoping to see their assets return big points. Here are three must have assets for Gameweek 8 and beyond-

Jamie Vardy:

Jamie Vardy is truly the man with a golden foot. At a price of 10.5 which is less than other Premium forwards Harry Kane, Romelu Lukaku and Cristiano Ronaldo; Vardy has returned points in 5 out of the 7 games this season. Vardy has returned 19 points in the last two games despite getting a -2 for scoring an own goal. Leicester City have a favourable run of fixtures. Their only fixture against a difficult defensive team is in gameweek 12 against Chelsea in which Vardy will be at the centre of the action. In the gameweek 8 fixture against Manchester United, Jamie Vardy will be up against Victor Lindelof and Eric Bailly because of injuries to Harry Maguire and Raphael Varane.

Joao Cancelo:

Manchester City in any situation has had a strong defence for the last 2 seasons. With favourable fixtures coming up, having at least one City defender is a must as their next three fixtures are against Burnley, Brighton and Crystal Palace. Although Pep Guardiola does like to rotate his players and will do so even more with the UCL fixtures coming, Joao Cancelo is a good buy. The Spanish manager has used Cancelo on the left as well as on the right and Cancelo's attacking prowess makes him much more valuable than other City defenders.

Romelu Lukaku:

Romelu Lukaku is in pure footballing terms a 'Small team bully'. Chelsea's next four opponents are Brentford, Norwich, Newcastle and Burnley which are fixtures the Belgian usually scores tons of goals against. Lukaku has returned points in only 2 of his 6 games but the fixtures are too good to ignore him. Getting Lukaku also means that he automatically becomes your default captaincy pick till gameweek 13 when he faces Manchester United.
