West Ham will play Brentford in EPL

On Monday night, West Ham United will host Brentford at the London Stadium in an exciting Premier League matchup that will see them try to snap a three-match losing streak

(Football news) Brentford is in 14th place in the chart after the Bees lost four of their previous five league games. West Ham has fallen to ninth place in the standings as a result of their recent problems. After defeating Arsenal 2-0 in the league at the Emirates Stadium at the close of the previous year, West Ham has not triumphed in any competition. As of right now, the team has lost eight straight games.

In addition to being eliminated from the FA Cup by Bristol City last month, West Ham United has gone six games without winning in the Premier League. They have drawn with Brighton, Sheffield United, and Bournemouth before dropping their past three matches to Manchester United, Arsenal, and Nottingham Forest.

The way they have lost their last three games—three at Old Trafford, six at home against Arsenal, and the most recent 2-0 loss at Forest—has been concerning. David Moyes’s team was easily second-best in each of those games, so the players are under a lot of pressure to bounce back.

West Ham is now just one point ahead of Wolverhampton Wanderers in 11th place in the table, having plummeted to ninth place, eight points behind sixth-place Man United.

In contrast, the Hammers have dropped all five of their Premier League encounters against Brentford, including a 3-2 loss in their rematch earlier in the current campaign.

As the Bees are also experiencing a concerning run of form, Brentford will be looking to exploit that stellar top-flight record against West Ham to help them secure all three points on Monday.

The last success for Thomas Frank’s team came on February 10 when they defeated Wolves 2-0 on the road. Since then, they have lost four of their past five league games, including their last two against Manchester City and Liverpool.
