(Tennis open) Stefanos Tsitsipas raised his arms in anticipation of Nicolas Jarry’s impending ball strike during their second-round encounter. Stubbs critiqued the Greek’s actions, which appeared to be intended to impede his opponent, in a video of the incident that was shared on social media.

The World No. 5, Stefanos Tsitsipas, ultimately lost the match to Jarry, 6-7(7), 5-7, and is still having a difficult grass court season. In the 2023 Stuttgart Open’s second round, he similarly fell to Richard Gasquet, 6-7(8), 6-2, 5-7.

After the second round of the 2019 s-Hertogenbosch Open, the match in Halle marked Tsitsipas’ second loss against Jarry on grass. However, Stefanos Tsitsipas defeated the Chilean, Nicholas Jarry in the third round of the 2023 Monte Carlo Masters in straight sets.

On June 23rd in Halle, Germany, Jarry will play Alexander Zverev in the quarterfinals of the 2023 Terra Wortmann Open. Recently, Stefanos stated that he does not like the Netflix documentary Break Point.

The World No. 5 expressed displeasure with the way the play portrayed his rivalry with Nick Kyrgios, particularly with regard to the controversy that erupted at Wimbledon in 2022. Tsitsipas thinks the documentary is more interested in dramatic events than it is in potentially revealing the real tale between the two players.

“I’m not a big fan of the whole production. They could have done a significantly better job, to be honest. I’m a bit disappointed there. What we get here has more to do with gossip and soap opera. That doesn’t belong there in my opinion,” Stefanos said.

The Greek, Stefanos Tsitsipas, acknowledged that Neftlix can do whatever it wants with Break Point even though he doesn’t like it.

“It just feels more like a reality TV show, But they like the drama, they want the drama, so let them do it. We gave them permission, they are in full control. And we learn from our mistakes, I think,” Tsitsipas added.
