(Cricket News) On Wednesday, March 6 at The Dadoji Kondadev Stadium in Thane, Mumbai, stand-up comedian Munawar Faruqui dismissed legendary Indian batter Sachin Tendulkar, reminding supporters of his infamous dismissal from the ODI World Cup 2003 final against Glenn McGrath.

During the Indian Street Premier League 2024 curtain raiser, Tendulkar opened the innings for Masters XI and brought back memories of his playing days with some amazing shots all over the stadium.

Tendulkar reached thirty points off of just sixteen balls thanks to his superb strokes. However, stand-up comedian and Big Boss champion Munawar Faruqui abruptly ended his batting to remove him. Tendulkar attempted to play the right-arm seamer’s fullish delivery on off stump to the on side.

But in the end, he was top-edging it to Naman Ojha, who finished a straightforward catch to end his innings. Tendulkar was consequently out for thirty (17), and Munawar was ecstatic to have taken home the coveted scalp.
