(Cricket news) The Punjab Kings (PBKS) picked up their fourth win of the TATA IPL 2024 by defeating the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by seven wickets at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Wednesday. Punjab successfully chased the 163-run target set by Chennai, with more than two overs to spare. He went for three runs and got a wicket. That was outstanding.”

Shane Watson, JioCinema TATA IPL expert, on Harpreet Brar – “Harpreet Brar has proven that a left-arm orthodox spinner bowling to a left-hander can actually work out okay. That matchup was one that captains normally try to avoid, but what a big moment in the game. Shivam Dube has been so dynamic against spin, so to be able to take that wicket was such a big moment in the game. The thing I love about him is how he knows exactly what his role is. He has to bowl the best balls he possibly can, not go after too many runs, and the wickets look after themselves.”

Suresh Raina, JioCinema TATA IPL expert, on Ruturaj Gaikwad – “Ruturaj Gaikwad was on the crease till the end… The way Ruturaj Gaikwad was batting and the planning Ruturaj Gaikwad showed, was exceptional. Even the smallest crunch situations, he reads them well. He also built a great partnership today. I like the fact that Ruturaj Gaikwad takes his time and plays very neat and clean. His timing was great, he hit a backfoot six on Sam Curran’s bowling to reach his 50, so his mindset is absolutely bindass. Watch the ball and react to it, it’s very simple. As a captain, sometimes there are so many things on your mind, but he doesn’t let it affect him, which is great.”
