The home side managed to open the scoring in the 4th minute via Rafa Mir who managed to find the back of the net after some pinball in the box. After conceding the Merengues established more control but Sevilla were still pretty solid at the back.

The Spaniard who is reportedly on the selling list scored twice in the first half. Gavi added a 3rd in the 2nd half to seal a 3-0 win. The rest of the game was very emotional as club legends Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba played their last home games.

Atletico Madrid got a 2-1 win over Real Sociedad which keeps them in the hunt to overtake Real Madrid and finish second on the La Liga table. Antoine Griezmann is having an incredible season and he continued that by getting a goal and an assist. Griezmann opened the scoring in the 37th minute after being set up by Nahuel Molina. Atletico Madrid got the cushion after Griezmann returned the favour by assisting Molina. Alexander Sorloth did pull one goal back in the 88th minute but Atlético Madrid held on to the win.
