(Football news) Premier League leaders Arsenal will make the journey across Landon to take on Fulham at Craven Cottage in the Premier League. Marco Silva’s side lost to Brentford 3-2 in their last match while the Gunners drew 2-2 against Sporting CP in the Europa League. With Joao Palhinha absent, Fulham saw their seven game unbeaten run come to an end after losing 3-2 against Brentford and the Cottagers now face an even tougher test against Arsenal. The hosts have a dismal record against table-topping sides, losing 16 out of 18 Premier League games.
In team news for Fulham, Palhinha will serve the second of his two game suspension which means Lukic will feature in his place. Tom Cairney could return from a foot injury while Layvin Kurzawa and Neeskens Kebano remain on the sidelines and on-loan right-back Cedric Soares is not eligible to play against parent club. Former Gunners Bernd Leno and Willian will feature against Mikel Arteta’s side while Solomon will aim to score in his sixth consecutive game.
As for Arsenal, the likes of Eddie Nketiah, Leandro Trossard, Mohamed Elneny and Gabriel Jesus are unavailable for selection. However, Aaron Ramsdale, Gabriel Magalhaes and Thomas Partey should be back in the starting lineup along with Kieran Tierney and Martin Odegaard. A narrow victory for Arsenal seems like the most likely result from this fixture.
Fulham possible starting lineup:
Leno; Tete, Diop, Ream, Robinson; Reed, Lukic; Willian, Pereira, Solomon; Mitrovic
Arsenal possible starting lineup:
Ramsdale; White, Saliba, Gabriel, Zinchenko; Odegaard, Partey, Xhaka; Saka, Martinelli, Nelson
