(Motorsports news) Fernando Alonso qualified 10th and finished ninth for the team during the Italian Grand Prix weekend, while Lance Stroll finished outside the points in 16th after starting 20th. The squad struggled to perform with its low downforce package. With third and fourth-place finishes, Ferrari surpassed Aston to take third place in the constructors’ championship.

The contest served as a sobering reminder of the team’s shortcomings on fast courses, and Krack is insistent that these issues must be fixed in time for the Las Vegas race in November, where long straights predominate.

Krack acknowledged that Alonso and Stroll had a difficult time at Monza due to their challenging vehicle and one-stop plan.

Given how challenging the car was to operate, he remarked, “I think honestly, both drivers did a fantastic job.” “Both of them had done. Since they drove themselves out of it, we really need to provide our drivers better cars. They were quite worn out, as you should have observed, Krack added.

“Obviously, we employed such a method; but, a one-stop operation entails carrying the entire amount of tyre degradation with it. It was challenging, and we must provide them with better tools. It’s challenging to compete for good points in this situation.
