England’s head coach Paul Collingwood said, “Rockstar Hardik Pandya caused me the most trouble”

As the TATA IPL gears up for two tantalizing matches, friendships will take a back seat on Blockbuster Saturday. In the first game of the day's doubleheader, KL Rahul's Lucknow SuperGiants host Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans, while in the evening match, Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians play Shikhar Dhawan's Punjab Kings

(Cricket news) The audience will see Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul interacting before and after the game, but they will be the two fiercest rivals on the field.

The first half of the TATA IPL 2023 has seen Hardik’s Titans’ season come and go in a stop-start fashion. Out of five games, the defending champions are 3-2 in victories. Their captain will try to set an example for his group and give them a competitive edge.

Paul Collingwood, a former England cricketer, praised Hardik Pandya for his all-around excellence on the pitch but claimed the Baroda cricketer has caused him a lot of headaches as England’s coach.

Paul Collingwood remarked during a Star Sports Cricket Live interview,  “Hardik Pandya is a rockstar and one of the most entertaining players. He leads from the front. He’s given me the biggest headache as England coach when we played against India. He’s someone who can change the complexion of the game with his performance and that’s what makes him a threat to any opposition.”

At the second TATA IPL match, which will take place on Saturday at Wankhede Stadium between Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings, all eyes will be on the hometown hero Arjun Tendulkar. Arjun delivered a critical final over for his team in a tight game against Sunrisers Hyderabad in Hyderabad.

Ravi Shastri, a former cricketer for India, expressed his admiration for the young left-arm pacer’s ability to hit the right spots in the final over and secure his first TATA IPL wicket.

Ravi Shastri remarked on Star Sports Cricket Live, “There was a clarity of thought in the way Arjun executed those yorkers in the final over. He worked brilliantly on the change of pace and he now has achieved something which his father couldn’t. Sachin never had an IPL wicket, and Arjun has surpassed him.”

While this was going on, Chennai Super Kings proceeded to dominate Sunrisers Hyderabad at home with a comprehensive seven-wicket victory yesterday night in the Southern Derby.

In the TATA IPL 2023, Devon Conway scored his third consecutive fifty as CSK won easily. The New Zealand cricketer, who was born in South Africa, can handle spinners and seamers as well.

Imran Tahir, a former South African cricketer, has provided some light on why the left-handed batsman, who had already made a reputation for himself in South African provincial cricket before relocating to New Zealand, is so effective against spin.

Imran Tahir, who was speaking on Star Sports’ Cricket Live, laughed and said, “Devon Conway is a quality cricketer. He makes full use of his batting talent. Tabraiz Shamsi, and Keshav Maharaj have bowled him a lot in the domestic circuit in South Africa, and that’s why he’s so good.”
