In 2023, Raducanu participated in just ten WTA Tour matches. Her ankle issues started during the ASB Classic, where she suffered a rolling ankle and had to withdraw from her match against Viktoria Hruncakova in the second round.

After being forced to withdraw, Raducanu took a savage stance against the ASB Classic organizers on the playing surface. However, she recovered in time to compete in the Australian Open, where Coco Gauff defeated her in the second round.

The British player’s finest performance of 2023 came in a last-16 run at the Indian Wells Masters, where she lost to Iga Swiatek after winning three straight games. However, after splitting from Sebastian Sachs in June, she hasn’t had a full-time coach.
