(Cricket News) Shivam Dube and Yashasvi Jaiswal thumped the Afghanistan bowling to take India to a relatively easier yet another series victory at the Holkar Stadium in Indore. Gulbadin Naib pounced onto the Indian bowling attack as Afghanistan finished their 20 overs at 172.
Having won the toss and leading 1-0 in the series, India had opted to bowl first on a ground known for hard-hitting and heavy scores. Rohit Sharma registered his 15th T20I Duck—however, Virat Kohli, Shiva Dube, and Yashasvi Jaiswal led the attack against the Afghan bowling attack and changed the momentum.
With the ball, Arshdeep Singh claimed a three-wicket haul, conceding only seven runs in the last over that saw a couple of run outs and another wicket go down. The spin duo of Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi continued to impress with two scalps each.
