Which Real Madrid players will not be available for the trip to Valladolid?

(Football news) Real Madrid yesterday played out a 0-0 draw in the friendly against Getafe. France duo Eduardo Camavinga and Aurélien Tchouaméni didn’t take part in the game as they played the World Cup final. Luka Modric was also not available as he was involved in the 3rd place match against Croatia. Brazilian trio Eder Militao, Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo are also still on vacation. Real Madrid’s first game back will be against Real Valladolid on 30th January at José Zorrilla Stadium. Los Blancos still have enough players to play a strong team. 

Having said that the 5 players who are still on vacation could come back and play some part in the game against Valladolid. According to reports, Vinicius and Rodrygo have been training while on vacation to keep up their fitness level. They will be in contention to be on the bench at the very least. Out of the first team players Andriy Lunin, David Alaba, Ferland Mendy, Nacho, Lucas Vazquez, Jesus Vallejo, Alvaro Odriozola, Toni Kroos, Dani Ceballos, Karim Benzema and Mariano Diaz didn’t go to the World Cup at all. 

Fede Valverde, Thibaut Courtois, Eden Hazard and Antonio Rudiger on the other hand returned early after getting knocked out of the group stage. No Real Madrid players returned from the World Cup with any sort of injury. Aurélien Tchouaméni and Luka Modric played a lot of minutes and it will be interesting to see how Carlo Ancelotti uses the pair for the remainder of the season. It looks like Real Madrid are not going to sign any players in January. Los Blancos have a very busy calendar in the first two months of next year.
