(Sports news) Ladies & Gentlemen, Your favorite MMA author is back after a long hiatus and his rejuvenated love for writing and MMA. There’s no better card to return to than UFC 294 !
The card has surprised all of us at multiple levels and so has my return to writing on India’s favorite Sports e-portal – Spogo News ! Lets get right into the action.
UFC 294 is taking place at the Etihad Arena at Yas Island in Abu Dhabi on 21/October/2023. You can catch all the action with me on Ultimate Guide to UFC from 7:30 pm only on Sony Ten 1.

The fight card had some major modifications last few weeks with Charles Oliveira pulling out of the main event versus Islam Makhachev due to a cut above his right eye during sparring. Australian legend Alexander Volkonovski steps in on 11 days notice to challenge Islam makhachev for his lightweight title.
Paulo Costa, who was going to fight Khamzat Chimaev in the co-main event, but he has also backed out citing elbow issues that need surgery. Kamaru Usman steps in on short notice to challenge Khamzat’s. Surprisingly , both the replacement fighters (Alex and Usman) have jumped a weight category from their natural fighting weight to challenge undefeated opponents (Makhachev and Chimaev).
Its surely going to be a landmark card with the lineup of some banging fights on the main card.
The highlight of the card also features India’s very own Anshul Jubli that takes on America’s Mike
Breeden in his UFC debut. The hopes are high and the Josh is higher!
