Titans aim to go 3 wins in a row at home

The Kings are arriving in Ahmedabad after two straight losses, and the Titans' lone loss occurred away from home

(Football news) For Titans, life after Pandya hasn’t been all that horrible after all. They have won two of their last three games under the leadership of new captain Gill, both of which have been at home. When Punjabi kid Gill captains Titans against Punjab Kings, they will want to make it three victories at home.

While Sharma has frequently been unhittable at the end of the game, Omarzai has swung the new ball on powerplays. Against Sunrisers Hyderabad, the team featured a strong Afghan flavour because to the inclusion of Omarzai, Rashid Khan, and Noor Ahmad in the starting lineup. If they want to change up their spin assault and provide Johnson’s explosive pace to Kings, who had trouble against Mayank Yadav, the newest pace sensation in the IPL, they also have Sai Kishore on their squad.

Kings had started their season with a win against Delhi Capitals at their new home in Mullanpur, but suffered back-to-back losses on the road in Bengaluru and Lucknow. Another defeat on the road will leave them even more vulnerable as a number of other teams have already hit the ground running.

Harshal Patel, for whom Kings had shelled out INR 11.75 crore, has been predictable with his slower balls, conceding at 11.41 runs an over. Rahul Chahar has also leaked runs and their spin attack, which also includes Harpreet Brar, doesn’t quite have the pedigree or experience of Titans’ spin attack.

If the Titans want to give Shahrukh Khan his franchise debut against his old team, there’s no reason to tamper with their winning formula. B Sai Sudharsan will replace one of the bowlers if the Titans chase, or vice versa, if they bowl first. This makes the Titans’ impact player strategy very predictable.

In line with their impact player strategy, Kings have also consistently started Arshdeep Singh if they bowl first or Prabhsimran Singh if they bat first.
