With the IPL School Quiz, India’s top sports broadcaster has taken fan centricity to a whole new level and seeks to give young fans the most immersive experience possible for the TATA IPL 2023. In just the first week of the IPL, more than 6,500 schools took part in the quiz, demonstrating the enormous popularity of the programme. Students’ knowledge of their preferred league will be put to the test in this quiz, which also offers them the chance to win the inaugural IPL School Quiz Championship. The quiz’s online portion began on March 22 and will end on April 30. From May 7 to May 15, 2023, the national and zonal portions will be held.
For a chance to win, students would have to watch the TATA IPL coverage on Star Sports and log onto StarSportsQ.com daily to complete five quiz questions and a bonus question. Schools will advance to the Zonal finals based on participation and average score during the online leg. The top five teams from each of the four zones will play online in the Zonal finals, and the four winners of that round will go on to compete in the National final.
The eight national winners of the IPL School Quiz will get a variety of thrilling rewards, including the chance to appear on an IPL Pre-show and go to Mumbai to watch the national finals, which will be broadcast LIVE on May 19, 2023, at the Mumbai Star Sports studios.
