Sri Lanka announce their squad for the ICC World Cup Qualifiers 2023

On June 10, 2023, the Sri Lanka National team will embark on their journey to Zimbabwe

(Cricket News) The Sri Lankan Cricket Selection Committee has finalized the 15-member squad that will represent the country in the upcoming ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier tournament in Zimbabwe. The squad has been approved by the Honorable Minister of Sports and Youth Affairs, Roshan Ranasinghe. The Sri Lanka National team is scheduled to depart for Zimbabwe on June 10, 2023. 

The selected squad includes the following players:

1) Dasun Shanaka – Captain

2) Kusal Mendis – Vice-Captain and wicketkeeper (wk)

3) Dimuth Karunaratne

4) Pathum Nissanka

5) Charith Asalanka

6) Dhananjaya de Silva

7) Sadeera Samarawickrama – Wicketkeeper (wk)

8) Wanindu Hasaranga

9) Chamika Karunaratne

10) Dushmantha Chameera

11) Kasun Rajitha

12) Lahiru Kumara

13) Maheesh Theekshana

14) Matheesha Pathirana

15) Dushan Hemantha
