(Cricket news) The Rajasthan Royals (RR) picked up their fifth win of the TATA IPL 2024 by defeating the Punjab Kings (PBKS) by three wickets, at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mohali on Saturday. Punjab batted first and put up a 147-run total which Rajasthan chased down in a final over thriller. Even though Ashwin wasn’t playing today, they still put up a playing XI with enough firepower when it comes to spin bowlers. These two spin bowlers haven’t disappointed. Keshav Maharaj can contribute with the bat also but the control he showed today was terrific.”
RP Singh, JioCinema TATA IPL expert, on Keshav Maharaj – “Keshav bowled really well. Everyone was getting stuck in his bowling; at no point did someone play him really well. Taking Jonny Bairstow’s wicket was great, and after that, he sent Sam Curran back as well… Keshav’s bowling has been great. He usually doesn’t turn the ball but today he was turning it as well.”
