Their squad consists of attacking batsmen and bowlers as Shikhar Dhawan has had a good run with the bat and pacer Avesh Khan has had a superb start with the ball. The team will start their second half on 22nd September against bottom placed Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Rishabh Pant will continue leading the side that is yet to win a title although their best performance came last when they lost to Mumbai Indians in the final. This year they had a rocking start and the young captain will try to showcase his fearless batting which is a huge bonus in this format. Pant also played useful knocks as he scored a fifty against Rajasthan Royals in a losing cause and has led the side with his always enthusiastic persona.

Their bowling has pacers like Tom Curran, Kagiso Rabada, Avesh and spinners like Ravichandran Ashwin and Axar Patel. They are one of the most balanced sides even though the stars have failed to impress, they have been depending upon Dhawan and Avesh. They so far have 12 points and have a two point lead over second placed Chennai Super Kings who have played one match less than Delhi Capitals.
