Alcaraz Back at Queen’s Club Saturday

Carlos Alcaraz is ready to make his grass-court debut at the Queen’s Club in London on Saturday, following his spectacular victory at Roland Garros.  The Spanish great, who won his fifth Grand Slam title only days ago, will train on grass for the first time this season as he prepares for the forthcoming tournaments.

Alcaraz arrived in London on Saturday morning after a brief vacation in Ibiza and El Palmar, continuing a pattern he began after winning the French Open last year.  This break has been critical for the young player’s emotional and physical recovery, allowing him to maintain optimum form heading into Wimbledon.

Training sessions at Queen’s are anticipated to begin immediately, where Alcaraz was named champion in 2023.  Fans may expect to see him in action by Tuesday or Wednesday next week, as he prepares for competitive play.

Transitioning from clay to grass remains one of the most difficult difficulties on the tennis circuit owing to the distinct movement and timing requirements.  Alcaraz has frequently utilized Queen’s as a vital preparation ground for Wimbledon, hoping to continue his momentum into the famous Grand Slam.
