According to a press release by Sri Lanka Cricket, Lakshan Sandakan and Chamika Karunaratne have been announced as the replacement for Lahiru Kumara and Dilshan Madushanka, by the Cricket Selection Committee. Kumara and Madushanka, pulled out of the ongoing test series against Bangladesh due to injury.
The duo joined the squad on Monday after undergoing the required health protocols.
The Sri Lanka Bangladesh two match test series is currently tied with the first match at Kandy resulting in a draw. The second test will take place from 29 April to 3rd May at the Pallekele International Stadium.
