(Football) In the final moments of the match against Egyptian rivals Zamalek, Al-Nassr’s Cristiano Ronaldo utilized his trademark header to level the score, earning his team a place in the quarter-finals of the Arab Club Champions Cup.

Al-Nassr faced a deficit at Saudi Arabia’s King Fadh Stadium in Taif when Zamalek’s forward Zizo successfully converted a penalty kick.

With just four minutes remaining on the clock, the 38-year-old athlete showcased his prowess by soaring into the air within the six-yard box, executing a powerful header that outfoxed goalkeeper Mohamed Sobhi.

This marked Ronaldo’s second goal of the tournament, having previously ended his pre-season goal drought against the Tunisian club Al-Monastir in a 4-1 triumph on Monday.

In the match against the Tunisian club Al-Monastir, Ronaldo had found the net using a similar technique.

In Thursday’s game, the spotlight was also on the inaugural appearance of Sadio Mane, Ronaldo’s latest teammate. Mane, who recently transferred from Bayern Munich, made his debut for the Saudi team after his unsuccessful attempt to join the Bundesliga in 2022.

Mane is the most recent high-value addition to the Saudi Pro League, following a series of prominent signings.
