Following his debut goal for AC Milan the previous weekend, Pulisic once again found the back of the net in his inaugural match at San Siro. This instrumental goal set the Rossoneri on the path to a convincing 4-1 victory against Torino in a Serie A encounter on Saturday. Olivier Giroud extended his goal tally to three with two converted penalties, while Theo Hernández also added his name to the scoresheet.
On the other hand, Roma experienced further disappointment as Jose Mourinho’s squad faced a 2-1 loss against Hellas Verona. Once again, a connection reminiscent of their Chelsea days was at play in San Siro. In the match against Bologna, Pulisic had linked up with former teammate Giroud to score on his debut. This time, the pivotal involvement was Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s, who played a role in setting up the opening goal in the 33rd minute.
