PBKS host LSG in a must win game for the Kings after they lost their previous match

PBKS welcome LSG to Mohali for match no 38 of Tata IPL

(Cricket news) KL Rahul has been very disappointing for Lucknow this season and someone just needs to remind him that he holds the record for the fastest IPL half-century. Super Giants fans must be wondering how they lost the last match against the Gujarat Titans. Rahul had taken the game deep and batted on a challenging surface, before he saw major collapse. The LSG batting needs to click again as Mohali should provide better opportunities to bat on and play with more freedom than the slowburner pitches in Lucknow.

Kings have backed themselves to play high-risk cricket and are on the same points as the Super Giants. Without captain Shikhar Dhawan, they have a very inexperienced top three but subsequently they too have played without fear as Liam Livingstone’s return after missing the first few games has been timely. Kings have been over reliant on Arshdeep Singh while Rahul Chahar has looked off colour. Kings would want to have a fully-fit Kagiso Rabada back and firing as it will add another dimension to very good pace attack

PBKS
Shikhar Dhawan will make his long awaited comeback into the side as Rabada is also set to return. They will want to bring in Nathan Ellis as an Impact Player with the ball for Prabhsimran Singh.

Possible XII: 1 Shikhar Dhawan (capt), 2 Prabhsimran Singh, 3 Liam Livingstone, 4 Harpreet Singh, 5 Jitesh Sharma (wk), 6 Sam Curran, 7 Shahrukh Khan, 8 Harpreet Brar, 9 Kagiso Rabada, 10 Rahul Chahar, 11 Arshdeep Singh, 12 Nathan Ellis

LSG
Super Giants might want to finally play De Kock to give them more stability at the top. Ayush Badoni will be used as an impact player in place of K Gowtham’s, vice versa
