(Cricket news) England comfortably won the 1st T20I match against Pakistan by 6 wickets. This is a rare 7 match series which means that Pakistan has a long time to recover. The 2nd T20I however is an important encounter as losing back to back T20Is will be a massive blow to Pakistan's confidence. England, despite missing a few key players, played really well in the first match but they will have to keep their level high because Pakistan is a quality team.
Pakistan possible playing XI:
Babar Azam (c), Mohammad Rizwan (wk), Haider Ali, Shan Masood, Iftikhar Ahmed, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, Naseem Shah, Usman Qadir
Bench:
Asif Ali, Mohammad Hasnain, Mohammad Haris, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Abrar Ahmed, Aamer Jamal, Shahnawaz Dahani
Shadab Khan has to come back into the side while Shahnawaz Dahani is likely to make way. The middle order is a huge problem and this time they don't even have Fakhar Zaman. Shan Masood and Haider Ali will take some time to get going and the management has to back them. Naseem Shah had an off day last time but he is a quality who is bound to come back. Shaheen Afridi's absence is a big one but Pakistan still have a potent bowling attack.
England possible playing XI:
Alex Hales, Philip Salt (wk), Dawid Malan, Ben Duckett, Harry Brook, Moeen Ali (c), Sam Curran, David Willey, Luke Wood, Adil Rashid, Richard Gleeson
Bench:
Liam Dawson, Olly Stone, Will Jacks, Jordan Cox, Tom Helm
England have no reason to change their batting line-up. This series is a great chance for youngsters like Harry Brook and Phil Salt to get some international experience. Alex Hales played a really good knock in the last game but he has to continue his form. The spin combination of Rashid and Moeen is England's biggest strength and they will once again be very crucial.
