(Football news) Otavio, a midfielder for Portugal’s Porto, has joined Al-Nassr, the Saudi Pro League team announced on Tuesday.

The transfer fee was not made public by the club, but local media estimated it to be over 60 million euros ($65.08 million). Otavio, 28, joined Porto in 2014 and has scored 31 goals in 283 games across all competitions.

“We have officially signed the Portuguese Star Otavio. Huge Welcome to The Best Player in Liga Portugal,” Al-Nassr posted on social media.

Otavio joins the Al-Nassr team that also features Sadio Mane, Alex Telles, Marcelo Brozovic, Cristiano Ronaldo, and Seko Fofana. Losing both of its opening games, Luis Castro’s team has had a rough start to the Pro League season.

League champions Al-Ittihad, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr, and Al-Hilal are a part of the Sports Clubs Investment and Privatisation Project, which has been launched by the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF).

PIF owns 75% of each of the four teams, with the other 25% owned by the clubs’ separate non-profit foundations.
