(Football news) Odisha FC have revealed their new home kit that will be worn by their players at the upcoming Hero Indian Super League season. The kit is dedicated to the states rich handloom tradition with Sambalpuri, specifically Pasapali, designs on it. The club will retain its colours of black and purple just like the previous season.
The design of Odisha FC’s kit is inspired by the famous Sambalpuri saree which is a handloom saree woven in the western part of the state. The decision to implement this design is to spread Odisha’s culture and tradition across the globe.
A few days ago, Odisha FC also launched their second and third kits. The away kit represents the traditional warriors of Odisha while the Paikas and the 'Sunrise' colour symbolize #ANewDawn inspired by the rising sun. The third kit represents Odisha’s massive coastline, magnificent beaches and the waves of Puri beach.
