(Sports news) South East Asia’s leading automotive parts solution company Pavna Group of Industries have been announced as owners of Premier Handball League franchise Golden Eagles Uttar Pradesh. The Pavna Group is a ₹500cr business house involved in sports, manufacturing and education and has a presence in India and abroad since the last 50 years. Their franchise will be amongst the six teams which will take part in the inaugural edition of the Premier Handball League.
Licensed by Bluesport Entertainment Pvt Ltd under the aegis of the Handball Federation of India, the Premier Handball League will look to commercialise the sport’s ecosystem in India and the inclusion of Pavna Group as one of the owners will not only increase its commercial viability but will also help promote the sport. Headed by Swapnil Jain, a young entrepreneur, the Aligarh based outfit is already a market leader in South East Asia and is now making its way to Europe.
