(Sailing news) Olympic 2021 Live Update: In the Men's Skiff 49er, Indian pair of Varun Thakkar and Kelapanda Ganapathy had their 10th, 11th and 12th race today in the Tokyo Olympics. They finished 16th in the 10th race, in the next race they jumped up 7 places by finishing 9th and in the last race of the day they ended up placed 14th. They are ranked 17th overall in the event after 12 races.

Nethra Kumanan and Vishnu Saravanan have their medal races tomorrow and will look to finish in flying colours. The pair of Varun and Kelapanda have their medal race on 2nd of August and will be the last ones to compete from the Indian team.
