In an interview with Marca, Galatasaray forward Alvaro Morata, who is now on loan from AC Milan, talked about his aspirations.
“ I like it, though maybe not all the time. It’s still a work, and some things get more difficult to understand as the years pass. I have endured more than I should have at times. I’ve come to the realization that I can’t resist it: I want to be content and relish my final years of work while doing my best.”
“I’ll stop talking about dreams now, although I had a dream about playing for Galatasaray. I was joking. When I was 13, Angel Torres, the president of Getafe, showed me love and respect, and I would like to return the favor.
I wish I could go back there and spend a year or two, or however long it is. I’m hoping to accomplish that following my time in Turkey. The 32-year-old Morata stated, “I would really like to play for Getafe and complete my career there, but maybe there won’t be a space for me.”
The Spanish forward was a member of Getafe’s hierarchy from 2007 to 2008.
