In the first three weekends since April 16, approximately 15 cities and towns have been covered.

It is the first time a sporting event has been broadcast digitally on such a big scale for public watching, allowing everyone in the nation with access to the internet to watch.

In the first game on Saturday, the reigning champion Gujarat Titans defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders by seven wickets, while Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated the Delhi Capitals by nine runs. These matches were played in Vadodara, Kurnool, and Bardhaman.

Fans in Jalgaon, Varanasi, Karnal, and Thoothukudi witnessed Punjab Kings defeat Chennai Super Kings in a nail-biting match by four wickets in the opening match on Sunday. The next evening, in the 1000th TATA IPL match, Mumbai Indians defeated Rajasthan Royals by six wickets. In the TATA IPL, it was also the biggest total successfully chased at Wankhede Stadium.

JioCinema is bringing cricket to every internet user and every community with access to the internet by inviting fans to TATA IPL Fan Parks. The TATA IPL Fan Park is open to the public for free. The JioCinema Experience Zone, a Family Zone, a Kids Zone, and other areas were all specifically designated for families and children at the TATA IPL Fan Park.

TATA IPL Fan Parks were built in high-traffic areas across the seven cities, transforming them into centers of entertainment for the game’s supporters. People could enjoy themselves with their family and friends in addition to watching live action.

JioCinema’s TATA IPL viewership is evidence of the shift in consumer preference towards digital when watching live sports, and the addition of the community viewing factor has made it a benchmark for other countries.
