Evans has not been seen on the pitch since Amorim’s first game at Ipswich Town and has sat out the recent squads due to injury. The likelihood is that he will remain on the sidelines for this contest.

Toby Collyer

Type of injury: Muscle

Possible return date: Unknown

Collyer has not been in a matchday squad for Manchester United since the middle of September due to a muscular problem, and the 20-year-old midfielder remains on the sidelines for the 20-time English champions.

Luke Shaw

Status: Out

Type of injury: Hamstring

Possible return date: Unknown

Shaw has only just worked his way back from a calf issue, but the England international has now picked up a hamstring problem and is set to be sidelined for several weeks. The defender has opened up about his devastation at his ongoing injury issues, but Amorim has promised to continue backing the former Southampton youngster.

Victor Lindelof

Status: Out

Type of injury: Groin

Possible return date: Unknown

Lindelof picked up a groin problem while representing Sweden during the November international break and has remained unavailable for selection. However, with the defender having returned to training, the expectation is that he will feature in the travelling squad for this game.
