(Football news) It’s a finely poised score between Manchester United and Sevilla who drew 2-2 at Old Trafford thanks to a brace from Marcel Sabitzer but own goals from Tyrell Malacia and Harry Maguire meant that progressing into the next round is far from certain. In the opening 45 minutes of the first leg, Manchester United were the better side but Sevilla improved drastically in the second half and now have a good chance of reaching the last eight.

Sevilla have won the Europa League six times but their form in the La Liga has been disappointing and they are currently 13th, 16 points off fourth place Real Sociedad. Mendilibar’s team have picked up seven points in their last three games and winning the Europa League will be the only way they can qualify for the Champions League.

The draw against Sevilla was a very costly one for Manchester United, who lost both Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane due to injuries but they still have enough quality to get a result. In the past, the Red Devils have lost two and drawn two of their previous four meetings against Sevilla at Estadio Ramon.

In team news for Sevilla, Gonzalo Montiel is suspended while Pape Gueye will also not be available for selection. Joan Jordan is sidelined due to a muscular problem but Ivan Rakitic, Oliver Torres, Tanguy Nianzou and Yassine Bounou are set to return to the squad. As for Manchester United, Bruno Fernandes is suspended following his yellow card in the first leg while Donny van de Beek, Alejandro Garnacho, Tom Heaton, Scott McTominay, Martinez and Varane are out due to injuries.

Marcus Rashford, Luke Shaw, Malacia and Marcel Sabitzer are back in training and have travelled to Sevilla but only Shaw looks likely to make it to the starting lineup. Maguire and Lindelof are expected to featur at centre back while Fred is expected to be in midfield alongside Casemiro and Christian Eriksen. The forward lineup is expected to feature ANthony Martial alongside Jadon Sancho and Antony on the flanks.

Sevilla possible starting lineup:
