The Sun claims that Manchester United has shown interest in signing Francisco Trincão, a winger for Sporting Lisbon.

In order to acquire Trincão, the Portuguese team intends to raise the asking price from €60.4 million to €83.7 million.  Because Barcelona will get half of the transfer price from Trincão’s move, this adjustment has been made.

The source claims that because they collaborated at Sporting, Ruben Amorim, the head coach of Manchester United, is personally interested in recruiting Francisco Trincão.  According to reports, the coach has named the Portuguese international winger as one of the main objectives for bolstering United’s offensive.

In July 2022, Francisco Trincão transferred from Barcelona to Sporting on loan.  The Lisbon club activated the player’s €7 million purchase option a year later.  Trincão has made 43 appearances for Sporting in all competitions this season, tallying nine goals and fifteen assists.
