(Cricket News) The entire country is excitedly awaiting the start of the highly anticipated Pran Pratishtha Ceremony of Ram Mandir, which is scheduled for January 22 in Ayodhya. Notably, a number of cricketers have also been invited to attend, including legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar, former World Cup winning captains Kapil Dev and MS Dhoni, and current India cricketers Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli, along with some of their teammates.

Notably, Kohli made a special trip to Mumbai following India’s second Twenty20 International match against Afghanistan in Indore, where he received his invitation at his home with Bollywood actress wife Anushka Sharma.

According to reports, Virat Kohli is most likely to attend the sacred event and has even been granted permission by the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India).

Former captain of the India women’s cricket team Mithali Raj is also likely to grace the event, while the current captain Harmanpreet Kaur became the latest entrant in the list of invitees on Saturday, January 20.

Notably, Sachin Tendulkar was the first person to receive the invitation followed by MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Ravichandran Ashwin, and Harmanpreet Kaur.

As the country gets ready for the return of Ram Lalla (Child Lord Ram), the Indian cricket team has gathered in Hyderabad to prepare for the Test series against England, which begins at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on January 25.
