Leverkusen Targets Savona for Frimpong

The administration of Bayer Leverkusen has made aggressive steps to find a suitable replacement for Jeremie Frimpong, who is expected to depart at the end of the season.  Nicoló Savona, an Italian talent, is one of the leading contenders.

The goal of Bayer Leverkusen is to secure their future.  Although the team will make every effort to keep Frimpong, they have formally begun looking for a trustworthy replacement.  Top teams like Liverpool and FC Barcelona are showing interest in the athletic wing-back.

Nicoló Savona is reportedly one of the most likely candidates to succeed the Dutchman.  The Italian player, who is only 22 years old, is notable for his youthful energy, exceptional talent, and adaptability. He can play a variety of places in the defense, whether on either wing or in more center duties.

Bayer Leverkusen will need to open their wallet in order to sign this talented wing-back.  Juventus, his present club, is not planning to let him leave easy and is anticipated to seek a sum of €25–30 million for a player whose contract expires in far-off June 2029.

Furthermore, the German team will face fierce competition from multiple Premier League clubs if they choose to take action.  Most notably, Bournemouth seems prepared to pay the asking price.  Savona has played in 33 official games thus far, scoring two goals and dishing out one assist for the elderly woman.
