(Football news) Lamine Yamal can’t stop breaking records. FC Barcelona’s 2-2 draw at Granada CF on Sunday night may have ultimately been a disappointing result for the Blaugrana but it was a bright day for the youngster. Lamine scored his first ever LALIGA EA SPORTS goal, pouncing on a rebound from a Joao Felix shot just before half-time to kick-off a comeback which saw his side come from 2-0 down to salvage a point.
“I’m really happy, it’s an honour for me to become the youngest ever goalscorer in LALIGA EA SPORTS and FC Barcelona history,” he said after full-time. “It’s a bittersweet feeling getting only a draw, we wanted a win.”
Lamine hasn’t stopped setting and breaking records since he burst onto the scene earlier this year. He is already FC Barcelona’s youngest ever senior player (15 years and 290 days); the youngest ever LALIGA EA SPORTS champions (15 years and 305 days); the youngest starter in LALIGA EA SPORTS this century (17 years and 38 days); the youngest assist provider in LALIGA EA SPORTS this century (16 years and 45 days); the Spanish national team’s youngest ever debutant (16 days and 57 days); and the youngest ever goal scorer for the national team (16 years and 57 days).
