(Cricket News) The IPL 2024 Auction concluded on Tuesday at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. The Kolkata Knight Riders acquired 10 new players, including Australian left-arm pacer Mitchell Starc, who cost an IPL record of Rs. 24.75 crore.
Afghan spinner Mujeeb Ur Rahman, who went for Rs. 2 crores, was the second-most expensive selection of the auction for KKR. The team’s top seven is probably going to stay the same, barring the return of captain Shreyas Iyer due to injury, but the addition of Starc, Mujeeb, and Chetan Sakariya will give them some flexibility in terms of squad building.
