After the international break in October, Lazio will travel to Turin to play Juventus, who are still unbeaten, in order to resume their Serie A campaign.
The match begins at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday at 20:45 local time.
Unfortunately for Thiago Motta, Continassa is starting to see an increase in injuries. Francisco Conceicao will serve a one-match ban after getting sent off against Cagliari, while Weston McKennie, Nico Gonzalez, and Teun Koopmeiners will also miss the match this weekend due to various issues. Gleison Bremer is still the only long-term absentee.
Given the dearth of choices, Motta may start the underperforming Douglas Luiz behind Dusan Vlahovic, Andrea Cambiaso as an advanced right winger (though Tim Weah is also a possibility), and Kenan Yildiz on the other side. While Juan Cabal replaces Cambiaso at left-back, Manuel Locatelli and Khephren Thuram will continue to play centrally.
Juventus (4-2-3-1): Cambiaso, Douglas Luiz, Yildiz; Vlahovic; Savona, Kalulu, Gatti, Cabal; Locatelli, Thuram
Only Manuel Lazzari is sidelined due to injury, giving Marco Baroni nearly an entirely healthy roster to pick from. Matias Vecino is still the backup, but Matteo Guendouzi appears to have overcome his toe problem to join Nicolo Rovella in the double pivot.
With Gustav Isaksen, Boulaye Dia, Mattia Zaccagni, and Taty Castellanos at his back, the line will be led by the Dane, but Pedro will be putting pressure on him from the right side. Nuno Tavares, Mario Gila, and Alessio Romagnoli continue in their positions at the back, with Adam Marusic taking over for Lazzari on the right side.
Lazio (4-2-3-1): Provedel; Isaksen, Dia, Zaccagni; Castellanos; Guendouzi, Rovella; Marusic, Gila, Romagnoli, Tavares
